August 31st Letter

I AM GOING TO THE TEMPLE TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am just so excited! There are two (future) missionaries that are receiving their endowments tomorrow, and the missionaries from the branch were invited!! So I get to go to the Switzerland Temple!! I am so excited!!! Not to mention, I am wearing jeans today cause we are going on a hike!! I love jeans XD So something funny that happened this week… Hmmmm…. Let me think for a second… We were helping a member, Oma, download music onto a USB so that she could listen to music in her new car. Then she wanted to put music on a CD for us so that we could listen to it while we were in our apartment. So we burn the music onto the CD and made sure that it worked on the computer, and then we went and put it into the CD player.. It wouldn´t play the music… It didn´t work… Sister Fenton thought that we had to rename the CD, so she went back and tried to rename the CD… She couldn´t find how to do it because it was all in German! And Oma couldn´t help us because she didn´t know how to work ITunes! So we basically put music on a CD that now doesn´t work! XD It´s fine. It´s ok. It´s just my life. XD

This week was FULL of spiritual experiences! We were talking to Malick, an African from Gambia, about the Atonement. I got to share my poem with him and then I asked him how he has seen Jesus Christ in his life. He said, “Well.. I have come to know him through you two. We can come to know Jesus Christ through God, and we can come to know God through Jesus Christ.” This is SO true! Throughout the Bible, the Book of Mormon, basically everything, you can see the Hand of God. Jesus Christ teaches us about God through Parables and just everything that he says basically. We can also come to know God through Jesus Christ and His Atonement. The perfect love that just goes into the Atonement just shows how much not only Jesus Christ, but also how much God loves us.

I love this gospel so much and I love God and Jesus Christ and all that Jesus Christ has done for me, my family, my friends, my neighbors, everyone! For all of those that are reading this that are not members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I want you to know at least one thing that I hope you take with you throughout your whole life and on. I want you to know that God loves you. He doesn’t just love you; He loves you PERFECTLY. I want you to think of someone that loves you so much. For me, I think of my mom. I know that she would do just about anything for me. When I was off at college, we would be on the phone with each other in-between classes. We were always talking to each other. When I was back at home, we were always together when I wasn´t at work or spending some time with my friends. My mom is always there for me and just loves me pretty close to perfect. Now think of that person that loves you so much. Now, I want you to know that God loves you more. God is always there for you through the thick and the thin. He is always reaching out to us. He carries us when our legs get tired. I want you to know that you are NEVER alone! NEVER! Even if you are yelling at God to go away, He is still there. Watching over you. Making sure that you are safe.

I hope all of you have a wonderful and a safe week! Please feel free to email me anytime! I love each and every one of you!

Always and Forever,

Sister Wonson
